PayPal is looking for a strategic, innovative and influential leader to shape and drive talent strategy for assigned business units. This role will work closely with and provide consultation to executives, HR Leaders and cross-functional partners. The role serves as a thought leader on everything related to integrated talent management, implementing projects focused on optimizing Talent Reviews, Succession Planning and career development. Additionally, this role will shape and execute strategic commitments around diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging. This is a role where you must have big ideas and also have the ability to implement them!

  • Provide strategic support to business executives by partnering in the development and execution of a talent strategy including individual and career development, coaching, diversity & inclusion and engagement
  • Act as a trusted and credible partner who anticipates talent needs from assigned Business Unit(s) and proactively recommends and drives scalable, simple solutions
  • Translate broad, longer term vision and objectives into specific milestones and goals to deliver key talent initiatives for the business
  • Benchmark talent management approaches and build a strong network with peers inside and outside the organization to build programs that address needs and are ahead of the curve
  • Establish and drive consistent “talent rhythms” and calendars
  • Develop/drive succession and talent planning efforts that ensure teams have the talent needed to deliver on their strategy
  • Ensure effective partnership with the broader talent and HR teams to provide timely delivery of services and to support client group requirements
  • Leverage employee listening system and other data insights to make talent recommendations that drive culture and engagement and improves organizational performance
  •  Foster a climate of inclusion and belonging where diverse thoughts are freely shared and integrated to develop plans and solutions that are best suited to the circumstances

Requirements

  • Broad expertise in the shaping and delivery of key talent and HR disciplines – talent assessment, succession, development, learning, diversity.
  • Successful track record of executive partnership, communication and influencing.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, handling multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to transform an organization from few annual performance and development touch-points to a continuous and deliberately developmental culture
  • Ability to set a strategic plan and aligned desired outcomes to execute multi-year talent strategies
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, global ambiguous environment with a passion for solving problems while being resourceful
  • Experience utilizing analytics & insights to inform plans and drive outcomes.
  • HR Business Partner experience is highly preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience in any of the key domain areas:  Human Resources, Talent, Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion or Engagement
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
