Lead a team of product managers for the Customer Success Platforms Product organization. As Director of Product Management for Digital Customer Service for PayPal, you will lead the delivery of digital and voice customer service products, bringing together solutions and platforms as a service on a worldwide scale. You will provide product vision, drive product strategy, execute cross-functionally across numerous business, product and engineering teams to address the myriad needs of internal and external customers.

As the Director, Product Management, Customer Success Platforms, you will embark on a path of building world class customer service digital and voice experiences through your leadership and product delivery.  You will be responsible for providing product vision, strategy and roadmaps, delivering differentiating customer experiences and best-in-class customer success platforms.   With demonstrated competencies in the full product development lifecycle from discovery to delivery including: customer discovery, leadership of the product team, product evangelism and management of products including prioritization, you will mentor and build a world-class product team delivering world-class customer service experiences on our platforms. You are deeply curious and persistent in gaining knowledge about our products and go-to-market strategy.

As Director, Product Management, Customer Success Platforms you will be highly effective in influencing, driving alignment, and collaboration. In this role, you will lead multiple products and teams of product managers, instilling a culture of product excellence and high performance.

You will be a thought partner to the global customer service leadership teams.    You will partner with these teams to understand their requirements and leverage cross-functional teams to develop and land solutions that meet their needs at scale. You will have exposure and visibility to PayPal executives, as you work with them to understand their needs and promote solutions that your team develops. Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple product areas and build a high performing team of product managers
  • Lead product strategy and vision.  Work across product, architecture and engineering teams to build, design, implement and maintain our products that span across the whole portfolio of product offerings.
  • Drive decisions around prioritization, solutions and functionality.
  • Influence and establish best product management and UX practices through solid design decisions, processes and tools.

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree with a quantitative focus in Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, other technical field or equivalent practical experience. MBA or advanced degree in Engineering/Computer Science is preferred.
  • +10 years of leadership experience in product management, engineering and/or management consulting
  • Experience delivering enterprise products at scale, managing product solutions with multiple stakeholders, leading either product or engineering functions

Preferred Qualification

  • Ability to partner with stakeholders to define analysis requirements and priorities, develop and execute strategy and balance short- vs long-term deliverables.
  • Ability to leverage executive presence to partner with/influence executives on a global basis.
  • Exceptional business acumen with an understanding of business drivers and value-creation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
