You will become part of the DEATCH Communications team, a strong team of two that covers the whole range of communications – external and internal, proactive and reactive and for both the consumer and merchant side of PayPal’s business as well as other key stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing and implementing PR campaigns that drive the perception of PayPal among these target audiences. You will be working independently and closely collaborate with colleagues from different teams at PayPal.

DEATCH Communications Executive (m/f)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute PR campaigns and product launches
  • Take on responsibility for cross-market campaigns and projects
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts
  • Build and maintain relationships with key business partners across product, business, marketing and corporate affairs
  • Develop a wide-range of communications materials including messaging, communications plans, blog posts, reactive statements, presentations, briefing materials and coverage reports
  • Support day-to-day media inquiries and briefings
  • Manage the PR agency team

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent qualification
  • Several years public relations/communications experience – strong project management skills desired. Agency experience a plus.
  • Strong existing relationships with German media
  • Experience in managing PR agencies
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German
