The pricing function is a key strategic lever to grow and optimize the PayPal business. For this exciting journey we are looking for a strong addition to our Global Deal Pricing Team. For consumer, merchant and product pricing you will be responsible for local pricing decisions as well as for regional strategic pricing projects. This will include working closely with the global pricing team and our finance colleagues located in Singapore, Japan, Australia, Berlin and San Jose . Your key stakeholders are the country managers, and the sales and relationship management teams. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a high-growth, international business environment, and interact with the PayPal leadership team.

Job Responsibilities

The Senior Pricing Analyst will report directly to the International Market Pricing Lead. The role will require that the individual supports in:

  • Partnering with the Business Unit to make educated pricing decisions and supporting the growth of the business
  • Providing quantitative and qualitative analysis on new business opportunities and upsells
  • Improving business cases and/or build new models to support new initiatives
  • Supporting strategic pricing projects
  • Providing structure, frameworks and guidelines on pricing topics
  • Aligning and improving processes to increase efficiency and foster faster decision making by benchmarking best practices
  • Suggesting and implementing new ideas to positively impact pricing performance


  • Relevant Pricing experience, preferably in high-growth, global e-commerce companies, consulting, investment banking, or private equity
  • Pricing and/or financial analysis experience
  • Successfully completed a Master degree in business administration, science, engineering or equivalent

  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, hands-on mentality, team-oriented and results-driven
  • Interest in digital companies, FinTechs, knowledge of ecommerce business models
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and notions of Finance/ Accounting; SQL a plus
  • Fluent English, any other languages are a plus
