We are seeking a high energy and innovative professional to join our Corporate Development team. The Analyst, Corp Development will be joining a small, collaborative, and global group focused on supporting the execution of M&A activities, new ventures, and partnerships across the company.

The Corporate Development Analyst will:

•    Reports into the Corporate Development (M&A) and PayPal Ventures team for the APAC region 
•    Support inorganic growth opportunities for PayPal – from idea to business case to deal execution and post-deal integration – taking a holistic, cross-functional approach 
•    Support aspects of the deal, including sourcing, qualification, initial rationale/pitch, financial modeling, due diligence and closing & integration activities
•    Help coordinate a cross-functional deal team within PayPal and support the deal's primary point of contact to target company management
•    Help identify and qualify new ideas & companies for PayPal from internal & external sources; keeping close ties to PayPal internal teams and industry contacts (entrepreneurs, investors and bankers)

•    Strong analytical skills, fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation and broad quantitative analyses and familiarity with accounting & key operational metrics
•    Adept with technology and a strategic thinker – knows what’s best for the business
•    Excellent judgment, mature personality, and experience working in a professional environment
•    Team player, pro-active and action oriented, anticipates needs, is assertive, and is highly accountable
