Xoom, A PayPal Service, is revolutionizing the global digital money services market by providing people with an easy, convenient, and cost-effective means of sending money worldwide. We offer a secure, fast, and inexpensive means of sending money, paying bills and topping up prepaid services across multiple digital platforms to both online and offline recipients in over 160 countries and counting. The Compliance Operations Analyst works closely with the Xoom’s CIP and Sanctions Management, by providing data driven insight on processes and projects to achieve KPIs, SLAs and goals. The role engages with stakeholders (Product, Policy, Data Science, Engineering, Leadership) to enhance workflow, sharing impact and outcomes of the operations. It collaborates with management, team, and third-party vendor on forecasting, KPIs and SLA definition, measurement, and reporting.


  • Support management and team to develop and report on goals, SLAs and KPIs
  • Analyze operational data, identifying patterns, trends, and changes with impact on operations
  • Monitor impact of initiatives, providing data driven observations and recommendations
  • Create monthly and Ad-hoc reports, present to management on performance, key findings, and assessments
  • Enhance workflow and cross-departmental engagements
  • Serves as Point of Contact (POC) for Escalations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on project and issue resolution
  • Recommend and update procedures to improve performance
  • Support special projects and initiatives. Special projects vary from strategic initiatives to day-to-day operations
  • Keep updated knowledge on regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Perform support activities to include daily monitoring, troubleshooting break/fix issues and remediation, and system enhancements

Requirements and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience as analyst. Focus on operations preferable
  • Working knowledge querying databases and using analytics platforms and reporting tools
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills to work with different management levels
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
