The Global Financial Crimes and Consumer Protection (GFC&CP) organization is responsible for detecting and preventing financial crimes, including money laundering and terrorism financing, and requires highly skilled subject matter experts to execute against key initiatives aimed at building a best-in-class financial crimes compliance function.

Position Responsibilities 

  • Represent GFC&CP in the pre-acquisition due diligence process for the potential acquisition targets to assess the target company’s GFC&CP relevant compliance program and identify any significant risks and red flags
  • Coordinate with the relevant GFC&CP SMEs to conduct deep dives with the newly acquired company’s counterparts in order to identify any potential program gaps. Document the gaps and create a strategy to address these gaps.
  • Define integration strategy and priorities for each of the key GFC&CP workstreams inclusive of policy/process alignment, data/technology integration and workforce planning.
  • Create a detailed integration plans identifying short, medium, and long-term integration priorities and objectives, leveraging the results of preliminary due diligence and additional deep dives.
  • Work closely with the relevant GFC&CP SMEs, data team and product teams to ensure timely execution of the integration plan.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the organization, business products and services, and technology solutions to act as an advisor among all stakeholders and to facilitate the integration process.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree required
  • Knowledge of PayPal compliance investigative practices and tools preferred
  • Experience in creating detailed documentation
  • Project Management experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel)
  • Experience with creating PowerPoint presentations
