The Compensation Analyst will have primary responsibility for carrying out activities in support of PayPal’s annual rewards cycle, the market pricing function, and job architecture design and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the annual and ongoing global rewards cycle in Workday including requirements documentation, system and program administration, user acceptance testing, data audits, rewards letters.
  • Participate in annual global market pricing activities, analyzing market data to develop and maintain salary ranges, short-term incentive targets and equity ranges based on established compensation strategy.  Develop employee impact and costing analysis.
  • Conduct ad hoc benchmarking analysis as needed for new or changing roles or to address specific market concerns.
  • Prepare and submit data to multiple third-party surveys, collect data output, manage invoicing and payment.
  • Serve as day-to-day owner of compensation software MarketPay.  Update, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of data. Create reports and analytics to meet internal needs.
  • Partner with the Compensation Operations team to ensure Workday is updated to reflect needed changes to job profiles, salary structures, bonus and equity targets, etc.
  • Serve as project team member in support of job architecture and leveling project and initiatives, including analytical and systems support on any changes to the career level framework.
  • Lead or participate in other compensation-related project and activities.

Requirements:

  • 5 + years of compensation related experience preferably within the technology industry
  • Proven success in market pricing and knowledge of global job architecture mechanics
  • Experience with job analysis, benchmarking and market pricing. Experience with Radford a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills are required to analyze data and create meaningful, understandable models and reports; ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making
  • Must be organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner and work cross-functionally
  • Experience supporting internal customers, such as compensation partners and HRBPs to support business initiatives

Preferred:

  • Experience with Workday especially the advanced compensation module
  • Experience with MarketPay
  • Experience working with a multinational company
  • CCP certification
