Collaborations Solutions Expert PayPal is looking to hire someone who is extremely passionate about Microsoft 365, Slack and other collaboration tools. Delivering excellent customer service and value to our business users is a key driver for this role. This is an exciting role in a newly formed team that allows for a lot of creativity and high impact. You will be working with the business leveraging your in-depth holistic view and knowledge of the M365 and Slack ecosystem and other services to consult with and develop or help support the development of solutions using the Power Platform, Bots, 3rd party integrations and other methods.

What you will do:

  • Design, build and drive the adoption of communications and collaboration solutions based on Slack integrations, M365 applications - particularly Teams, SharePoint Online and the MS Power Platform.
  • Create proof-of-concepts to demonstrate functionality and features according to business needs.
  • Execute on various projects to completion with a keen eye on details.
  • Act as champion for optimizing user experiences and leveraging best system practice.
  • Manage solution scope, testing and training.
  • Requirements gathering, architecting, and documenting solution design.
  • Stay informed on application features and enhancements delivered by Slack, Microsoft and be willing to facilitate a Change Council.
  • Train and assist Support teams and business users on how to best leverage Slack, M365 products and services.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and other stake holders on progress and impediments. 
  • Be a resident expert on features and functions of supported applications.
  • Familiarization and upskilling on our other collaboration tools will be necessary
  • Be flexible with work hours to accommodate various teams from different parts of the world.

To be success you will have:

  • Strong Solutions Consultant experience within the Slack ecosystem.
  • Extensive experience of developing bots, integrations and workflows within Slack
  • Strong Solutions Consultant experience within M365 experience.
  • Strong business/technical knowledge of the whole M365 suite (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Forms and the Power Platform) with full understanding of the MS roadmap and future state capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated presentation and training skills.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to organize and manage multiple projects from inception to completion between cross functional teams with a focus toward delivering excellent customer service and value.
  • Working knowledge of JSON, JavaScript, CSS, and PowerShell.
  • Working knowledge of Azure services such as the bot framework and Azure Functions.
  • Certifications in M365 or any PL Power Platform exams is a plus.
  • At least 1 year Power Platform development experience (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agent and Power BI)
  • HTML / CSS / Typescript or React skills.
  • Good understanding of security protocols to support our security team in keeping the organization safe.
