Business Systems Analyst will directly report to and Manager in the development and execution of strategic transformation programs & initiatives, strategic engineering architecture design, resource allocation, and platform performance monitoring. The nature of role is strategic, analytical and highly collaborative, working with team members across World and also as a liaison for Global projects

Responsibilities:    

  • Establish a consistent, project management framework and development processes to deliver high quality software, in rapid iterations, for business partners in multiple geographies.

  • Ability to provide a systematic approach, sense of responsibility, ownership and strong, positive customer focus.  Must be results focused and highly energetic to drive the defined team and organizational goals 

  • Edit, clarify and proofread documents and sequence diagrams written by developers, SME’s and architects.

  • Review existing technical documents and bring them up to best practices standards of the payment networks and software development.

  • Manage complex documentation projects with tight timelines and coach non-writers on ways to improve their writing skills.

  • Work with raw content from subject matter experts and architects to produce documentation for a technical audience to design and organize documentation sets for new APIs and developer products.

  • Institutionalize a content strategy for ongoing documentation management.

  • Work with developers to provide samples of API reference documentation including JSON response samples and curl commands.

  • Work with Product Managers and other key stakeholders to understand and document platform capabilities.

  • Supplement developer documentation with relevant sample code. The documentation is primarily for complex payment applications software development.

Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or communications. Master’s degree a plus.

  • Experience as a technical writer, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience working teams in a global complex matrix organization involving multiple reporting lines 

  • Experience providing feedback on APIs during development cycles.

  • Can thrive in a collaborative team oriented environment, with focus on delivering thoughtful and committed deliverables.

  • Experience with the payments industry or mobile commerce is a plus.

  • Aptitude with both API-level technical documentation and higher-level technical guides and feature briefs.

  • Familiarity with developer documentation is a plus.

  • Knowledge of full stack architecture.

  • Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills.

  • Self-motivated, quick learner who works with minimal to no supervision.

  • Results-driven approach, with a winning, positive attitude.

  • Should be a great communicator, strong project management skills, and superb attention to details (must)
