This First Line of Defense position supports risk mitigation activities for the PayPal Credit Marketing organization. This individual will collaborate across business lines including Marketing, Marketing Ops, FLOD, Compliance, and Legal to identify, build and strengthen controls for the marketing campaign lifecycle.

FLOD, Compliance, and Legal to identify, build and strengthen controls for the marketing campaign lifecycle.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for developing testing processes and the design, development and implementation of test plans, scripts and reports based on business process requirements.
  • Collaborate across business lines including Marketing, Marketing Ops, FLOD, Compliance, and Legal to identify, build and strengthen controls for the PayPal Credit Global marketing campaign lifecycle. 
  • Focus on leveraging business intelligence tools and internal data to identify usable data for business monitoring and testing.
  • Support marketing campaign initiatives and assess risk associated with the launch of new products or features.
  • Apply knowledge of marketing business processes and marketing to build out or strengthen controls.
  • Create reports and communicate on testing performance results and recommend actions to close gaps.
  • Develop a strong understanding of marketing and marketing ops processes and employ ongoing strategies to remain a subject matter expert for both businesses.


Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in consumer credit marketing
  • Minimum of 4 years’ Quality Assurance and/or UAT Test experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Skills Preferred:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in consumer credit risk management
  • Proven experience with automated and manual testing, testing tools, writing test documentation, and analyzing test output.
  • Experience with business process mapping and risk assessments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of consumer credit laws and regulations governing consumer credit marketing.
