Responsibilities include:
Business Strategy, Planning, and Reviews
Supporting the development of PayPal’s strategy on high visibility initiatives, and long-term strategic priorities in key ecosystem areas
Developing recommendations and preparing written and oral presentations to senior management
Developing, maintaining, and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Analyzing data from various sources to compile a comprehensive picture of the overall business operational performance.
Producing periodic reports on a wide range of strategic and tactical analysis
Program Management
Balancing urgent and effective action, commitment to excellence, and taking initiative to resolve problems; holding internal stakeholders accountable where appropriate
Coordinating, supporting and providing guidance on initiatives to cross-functional PayPal stakeholders
Process Improvement
Developing and implementing best practices across operating rhythms and routines
Supporting day to day operations and delivering on strategy and operational plans from the planning process against the strategic vision for PayPal
Qualifications
Technical Acumen
3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, and/ or corporate strategy
Industry expertise in payments and / or technology preferred
Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint
Business Acumen
Strong communication, listening, and negotiation skills; able to convey important messages in a clear and compelling manner
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Strong critical, creative and analytical thinking, decision making and innovative problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects with competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to change; comfortable dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty
