PayPal is seeking a driven Treasury professional with day-to-day treasury/cash management and FX exposure management experience to join our global Treasury M&A Integration team. This role is based in Austin and will mainly support the onboarding of acquisitions’ treasury operations as needed for each specific transaction. The Treasury M&A Integration team is part of the core cross-functional team that supports PayPal’s M&A activity led by the Corporate Development team. The Treasury M&A Integration team supports both the Treasurer and Head of Corporate Finance & Investor Relations during the due diligence process for acquisitions and strategic investments. The Treasury M&A Integration team sets the strategy for Treasury integration and is responsible for coordination of integration activities alongside other M&A partners and workstreams including Tax, Finance, Legal, and Compliance.

In this role, you will work alongside the Treasury M&A Operations lead to facilitate and bridge the transition and integration of the target company’s Treasury operations into the group. In this role, responsibilities could include:

  • Onboard acquisition’s cashflow and liquidity management to the group
  • Prepare reports on cash balances and/or movements weekly/monthly/quarterly
  • Manage portal accesses and banking relationships of acquired companies
  • Manage FX exposures as directed, ensuring reporting and tracking is accurate and updated on a timely basis
  • Be responsible for treasury operations' adherence with SOX compliance and to board approved treasury policies
  • Conducts intercompany borrowing and capital repatriation activities
  • Cross-train new treasury colleagues on group treasury practices
  • Effectively communicate and present critical treasury related matters to line management
  • Transition responsibilities to Treasury teams at the appropriate stage of integration

The ability to work collaboratively with workstream leads and subject matter experts to drive through and complete execution steps is required.  In this role, you may be required to manage key internal and external relationships, provide quantitative or qualitative analysis and track and report metrics on progress of integration. 

Skills Requirements:

  • Ability to remain flexible and perform at a high level of competency in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing priorities
  • Comfortable working with diverse teams in multiple locations.
  • 3-5 years of experience in treasury function, preferably in operations capacity
  • CTP/ACT qualified - preferred
