The PayPal Customer Success Organization is looking for a Manager of Agile Scrum Masters to join its Customer Self Service Solutions team .This team is responsible for design and develop self service solutions to provide assistance that enables the customers to successfully use PayPal products . We are a strategic part of the PayPal business plan to enable operational efficiencies and revenue enablement through self-service opportunities through chatbot, Voice, Contextual Help and NLP Management. As a member of this team, you will assist us in building the world class Self service solutions by leveraging PayPal Platforms/products. In this position, you will lead a new team of Agile Scrum Masters. Your primary responsibilities include developing talent, communicating expectations, and holding team members accountable in order to be successful in this position. The position will also be hands on allowing you to directly work with the product, design, and engineering team to improve Agile practices. You will drive team engagement and improving our Agile maturity. You will build relationship with other organizations including Product, Architecture, and Design ensuring delivery and quality goals are met.

Candidates for this role will be well-rounded technology leaders who have a passion for building high performing teams. The role is a self-organized technology leader with in-depth understanding of organizational management principles, software development life cycles, and software engineering practices. Your strong management skills, relationship building ability, and strong desire to collaborate with others are all required to make this role successful.

10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD).

Requirements
  • 12-15 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
  • A 10+ year track record of relevant work experience in Agile
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
  • Good knowledge of Jira and Clarizen would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Scrum Master Certification a plus
  • Data driven, understand the need for and apply analytics
